CMI worked together with researchers at the Leiden University Medical Center in The Netherlands under the direction of Prof. Paul van den Berg to develop a novel 14 electrode catheter with 3 balloons. The catheter was used in an animal study in Leiden to test the possibility of measuring regional blood flow in the Inferior Vena Cava using a new impedance technique.
