The combination of a Filter basket, Catheter and Sheath is marketed and sold directly by Embotec GmbH. The product is used in conjunction with all Thrombectomy/Trombolyse Systems up to
6 Fr. in diameter.

CMI worked together with Embotec GmbH (Munich, Germany) to develop, test an embolic protection sheath for temporarily filtering blood during high risk vascular surgery or vascular interventions. Utilizing all technical and clinical information, CMI has submitted a technical file to its notified body for CE marking of Embotec’s first device and full CE mark approval was granted in February 2006.
